Bespoke Display Stands

MRDS designs and manufactures quality retail and commercial display equipment.  We specialise in making bespoke stands, boards and cradles primarily in MDF.

We started in 2017, but our team, led by Margaret Reid has decades of experience in the manufacturing of display stands for retail point of sale and company showrooms.

Our History

Margaret has worked as an agent for companies supplying display materials such as showroom stands, boards and cradles to the flooring industry since the start of her career, and had her own agency for 26 years before starting Margaret Reid Display Solutions Limited.  When the management at Olympic Display Products which she represented decided to stop manufacturing, she seized the chance to start up on her own.  She took on the team that had worked for Olympic and found a manufacturing unit based in Stroud, Gloucestershire where the new company started production.

Since then we have focused on developing new display stands, improving the board range and researching new types of finish in order to be able to provide our customers with display equipment that shows their products off beautifully.  And it goes without saying that we try to provide our customers with the sort of service that we would like to receive from our suppliers, that is to say impeccable.

Our Factory

The new factory is equipped with CNC equipped routers and beam saws as well as machines for coating the boards, stands and other display items in the colour of the customer’s choice.  Branding and other graphics are produced by a specialist printer before being applied in house.

Given Margaret’s career, it is only natural that we supply many of the largest companies in the tile industry, but we also manufacture display material for other flooring sectors including carpet, hard wood and laminate and vinyl, and for bricks, door furniture… As everything we make can be tailored to the client, our display equipment lends itself to many other materials.  Contact us to discuss how we can help display your products at their best.
